Mooresville, NC (August 30, 2011) – NASCAR Camping World Series driver Dusty Davis will be visiting Snow Creek Elementary School in Hickory, North Carolina Friday, September 2 to kick off Driven to Read, a reading incentive program. Davis, who is the national spokesperson for the non-profit reading initiative, is passionate about the subject. “Reading is extremely important. I hope to inspire kids to start reading from an early age so they not only understand just how important it is, but also enjoy it,” said Davis.
Davis who was only eighteen at the start of the 2011 NASCAR season is running a limited schedule in the Camping World Series this year, in order to qualify to run full-time in 2012.
